SAIS UV TUBE LIGHT
Underwater UV Light for Biofouling Prevention.
After corrosion, biofouling is probably the greatest challenge to keep underwater cameras, lights
and instruments in good working order. UV Light helps inhibit marine growth on submerged surfaces.
The SAIS UV LED light is special version of the SAIS rugged, compact, 0 - 100% dimmable Tube Light that contains an Ultraviolet (UV) LED with a peak wavelength of 275 nanometers. This wavelength is often used for sterilization and also discourages bio-fouling underwater. The UV is effective within a range of approximately 6 inches (15 cm) of the light. Typical usage is to connect the light to an interval timer that activates the light for some period of time during each hour of deployment. UV output power is 11.5 mW with a view angle of 125 degrees. The light can tolerate a wide input voltage range of 9 VDC to 36 VDC and draws only 200mA which allows it to be easily integrated into many systems used in the marine environment for a wide range of tasks. Adding the SAIS Ethernet Interface and PoE Adapter on the interface end of the cable makes the light perfect for IoT and Machine Vision applications.

• Can be powered directly from PoE source using the SAIS Ethernet interface and PoE Adapter (sold separately).
